You came and kindled light,
and brought human beings to this world.

You loved,
You poured forth nectar,
and aroused softness in minds.

The earth was torn and broken
due to strokes,
and, due to divisive intellect,
became fragmented
into hundreds of parts.

Mother earth carried marks of pain
all over her body.

You provided illumination,
and applied ointment on wounds.

To whose call of pain and crying,
did You listen?
With assurance, You removed the terror,
and told:

"I am here to protect you from pain."
