Sitting on my balcony,
I wonder day and night,
who is He who thinks about me in His leisure time?

I think about Him in dream, slumber,
sleep or in my awakened state.

O Lord,
who is that You for whom there is no rest?
You remain busy twenty-four hours long.

I constantly think only about You.
You, on the other hand, think about the whole world.
I am a meagre but You are very great.

You are the protector of the destitute
and the very life of the universe.
By Your mercy,
all, unitedly and with one mind, seek You.
