By mere virtue of intellect and superficial knowledge,
You cannot be realised.

When I feel that I may have understood You,
I realise then and there that I am in the dark.

When I surrender my everything unto You,
then only do I feel that You reside in my mind.

I call You desperately during nights of suffering
burning with the fire of worries, repentance and afflictions of the heart.

Amidst all these sufferings,
with a crying heart,
I call You desperately.

And I then feel that,
in the core of my heart,
You secretly reside.
