Krs'n'a:

To kill Kam'sa and to save the moralists,
I must go to Mathura.
I am going for a benevolent task,
so listen all
bid me goodbye with a smiling face.

Vrajava'sii:

We cannot do this with a smiling face
to let our souls go to hell!
We lay down in front of Your chariot;
we will not let You go.

Krs'n'a:

O, my attendant! Drive the chariot upon them.
I must go to Mathura today;
however dear to me they may be,
I cannot let them stop me from doing my duty.

Krs'n'a:

For anihilating the demonic exploiter Kam'sa,
and to protect the virtuous modest,
I shall certainly go to Mathura'.
So listen all,
I am going for an auspicious task,
bid me farewell smilingly.

Vrajava'sii:

We can do this smilingly,
permitting the moon to be swallowed by the demon.
We lie down on the path of the chariot,
we will not allow You to go under any circumstances.
Krs'n'a:

O charioteer, drive the chariot upon them,
I must go to Mathura' today.
However dear to me they may be,
possessing austere endeavor,
I cannot tolerate obstruction by them.
