On this autumnal evening,
amidst the sandal breeze,
my mind longs to attain You.

It drifts into the sky
intoxicated by the fragrance of flowers
and the smile of the moon.

Today I have lost all bondages and obstacles.
For You I have shed away all fear and shyness.
Into the free sphere,
where birds fly,
my mind floats.

At each step there used to be obstruction of inertial dogma.
I had not been able sing that carefully rehearsed song of liberation.
Alas, forgetting the song,

and ignoring the tune,
I had been sleeping in a prison.
