The flute started playing by the Yamuna river.

It plays continuously,
without caring for whatsoever household work.

My mind rushes to the shore of the river.
The peacock spread its wings.
The wild deer cry out.
The honeybee hums.
Why does the papiya bird keep chirping?

What for do so many flowers bloom,
with mental fragrance swinging to and fro?
The Gokul of feelings is restless with rhythm,
for whom does it go on dancing?
