O Lord,
filling the deep blue sky with all Your being,
You have come today.

The clouds bear the pollen
of ketakii (screwpine) flowers on their bosom,
and the peacocks of my heart started dancing with joy.
The fragrance of jasmine flowers fills in the air.

The deer in the forest glades
are looking up into the sky.
Thinking about Him,
the viin’a’ of my mind started playing anew.

The pollen of kadamba flowers
are scattered about in delight,
and drops of water lie traced on them.
My eyes look at the decorations of the niipa trees
and see the world dressed up in celebration.
