You have secured Your safe haven in the minds of all.
None exists save You.

You, the warm illumination of all light,
enlighten our little lamps with Your brilliance.

Our lamps burn with Your very light,
yet our foreheads become stained with sticky soot.
You exist so everyone exists.
You remain in the midst of all.

Our love, affection, kindness,
compassion, learning and intellect,
all result from Your sweet grace,
and under Your benevolent guidance
we will develop them all.

Come gently and take shelter
in the deepest cavity of my mind.
I want to keep You close to my heart.
