From the moon’s light-filled land,
anointed with floral fragrance,
which was the night when You came?

O enhancer of sweetness,
pleasing in experience,
charmer of mind,
with what expectation did You come?

The pollen of ketakii flower even today tells of this event.
The juhi flower is afflicted, yet it still sings of Your victory.
The tagar and camelii group of flowers vibrate by the experience
and in seclusion create songs of unlimited love.

The wild deer even today cherishes that environment.
Materialising its call, the peacock is noticed.
Frogs joyously croak with tears of love.
In the kadamba and tamal groves even today the peacock’s cry resonates.
