That divine bondage,
which I had been longing for,
why has it not come?

In the darkness of my nights
as well as in the brightness of my days,
He remains far.

I wanted a loving devotional link with Him,
to gradually merge in the absolute
by relinquishing inertial darkness.
I hoped that by calling Him constantly,
with the devotional repetition of my mantra,
He would provide His effulgent consciousness.

I wanted a bondage of love,
so that this microcosm would rise and become cosmic.
He can fulfil the impossible,
making me love the entire existence.
