On the path surrounded by flowering bakula trees,
towards the end of the night,
there was only You and no one else.
You were hiding in depth of a golden dream.
I could not see You,
O effulgent one.
My mental temple had been surrounded by vacuity.
The solitary dark prison had been calm.
I saw and recognised You in an instant,
and my night’s darkness disappeared.
Outside in nature, the sun rose,
and my mental peacock started calling and dancing.
Within me and in the outside world,
O beloved,
for You,
true knowledge, full of love, emerged.
