O Lord, even on giving word, why did not You come? Coming to my home, and sitting beside
You told me before leaving that You would never forget me. As welcome preparation, I had
tied garland of baul flowers on my chignon, worn bangles of shiulii flowers, I had
decorated the tray with kadam flowers, where did You go and did not return, did not take
that? On my palm trees, resin came. On sha’l trees, ta’l d’angra’ came, why I do
not understand. On anjiir tree and on maul many leaves came. I do not know, whether You
have come without telling.
