At that time,
inert drowsiness was not yet over.
The sun had not yet risen in the eastern sky
and the petals of flowers did not yet smile
under the soft breeze of spring.

The dust of heaven
enthusiastically swooshed down
unto the unseen earth.

No sky nor gently smiling air
were there to dance with vivacity.

And yet, the mental viin'a' (lyre),
tuned to the musical octave,
sang numerous songs in Your tune.

Bypassing all dogmas,
a heart longed for Your touch.
