O Lord,
after listening to my invocation
You finally came.
You are the heavenly, all-granting tree (Kalpataru).

Although I am but a dry desert,
You took Your place in my heart.
In front of You
I surrender myself.

I offer You whatever is mine.
Whatever, for so long,
I had considered my own
is now offered to You.

In the far blue sky
Your beauty is expressed,
and mingles with the fragrant sandal breeze.

Whatever distance may exist
between You and me,
let there be an end to it today.

Whatever I have given You is nothing.
Whatever I have received from You
is inexhaustible and immeasurable.

By virtue of Your own quality,
You understand my internal feelings
and fill them with melody.

By Your rhythm and song,
by Your incomparable melody,
You energise the entire world.

O Lord,
hearing my call,
You came, You came!

You are Kalapatru
(a wishing tree that gives everything You ask for).
whereas I am but a dry desert.

You took Your seat in my heart.
I surrendered myself to You.
I surrendered my everything - whatever I possessed.

Whatever I had for so long as mind -
that much I did not surrender to You.

In the distant blue sky,
in Your smile,
in the breeze,
the flow of Your charming love lingers on.
Whatever distance there is between us,
let there be an end to it today.

Whatever I gave was nothing.
What I got is endless.
There can be no measuring of it.

With Your greatness,
please touch my heart.
With Your songs,
remove the pain in it.
With Your melodies,
fill the universe with new life.
