My Is't'a mantra is dearer to me
than even my own life.
I will never leave it in exchange for anything else.
I won't leave it even if happines, respect, money
or life are lost.
I won't leave it because it is my only wealth
and ultimate endeavour, my sa’dhana’.
Even if the Lord of death appears with an open tuft of hair
with terribly large teeth
as the frightening Bhaerava
I shall tell Him: I love my mantra
and this love will never be drawn away.
O fearful Bhaerava
I require Your blessing.
O Controller of time
I await Your grace.
O Paramapuruśa, forever remain with me.
Remember, I am the dust of Your feet.
