On the path of movement so many thorns lie.
Why is that?
I am unable to understand it.

The time spent in lifting up those thorns
could have been utilised in work.

I have heard that if obstructions come
in a full fledged way,
it arouses energy to ideate on You.
This reason for so much obstruction consoles me.

If darkness was not there,
the value of light would not be understood.

The distressed mind only
understands the magnitude of bliss.

---------------------------------

Why are there so many thorns on the path?
I cannot understand this.
The time I spent to pick up these thorns
could have been utilised for work.

If there is obstructions on the path,
strength increases
and the mind becomes engrossed in Your thought.
Maybe this is the reason why
You create so many obstructions.

If there had been no darkness,
who could have understood the value of light?
Only the mind that is engrossed in pain and suffering
can realise the intensity of happiness.
