I observe Your sports, O Lord,
behind which You stand apart.

You bring the darkness of night,
and the festival of stars.

You delight our hearts
with the moon effusive smile
and give the gruelling heat of a summer's midday.

You bring excruciating pain
and the refreshing fragrance of bela and juin.

You offer a multi floral garland of glorious hues
and a garden full of thorns
where it's difficult to walk,
then You bring roses in the morn.

How do You play so many sports alone?
