Come, O Spring,
Lord of seasons,
sway my mind.

Beam forth Your radiant smile
and entice the flower garden
into joyous dance.

I am exuberant with delight
amidst green leaves and crimson flowers.
Every fibre of my body thrills in ecstasy
with the advent of my dearest Lord.

My eyes are adorned with collyrium.
I see whatever is good in this universe.
My wild hair flies loose in the unruly southern breeze.
My heart is full of nectar,

and that nectar alone I pour forth from my being.

The Lord of my life has come today
at the end of my prolonged weeping.

Come Spring, Lord of seasons,
sway my mind.

Beam forth Your radiant smile
and entice the flower garden to dance.
I delight in her green leaves and crimson blooms.

At Your advent
each fibre of my body
thrills
ecstatically.

My eyes
coloured with dark liner
gaze on a beneficent world
while my hair flies wild
in a gusty southern breeze.

The nectar of my brimming heart
pours forth from my being.

The Lord of my life
has come at last
to end of my long age of weeping.
